Cubbylist is a daycare search tool built for BC parents. We import 5,400+ licensed daycares from BC government open data and help you compare, score, and track them — so you can find the right fit without drowning in spreadsheets.

When you purchase a pass, you get full access to Cubbylist for 30 days. There’s no subscription — when your pass expires, you simply buy another one if you need more time.

You can create an account and go through onboarding for free, including adding your children and setting your home and work locations. You’ll need a pass to access the full daycare search and scoring features.

Your account and all your data (lists, contacts, notes) are kept safe. You just won’t be able to access the search and scoring tools until you purchase a new pass. Nothing is deleted.

We import licensed daycare data from the BC government’s open data portal. This includes facility names, addresses, license types, and capacity information for over 5,400 providers across British Columbia.

We sync with the BC government data source regularly to make sure new facilities and license changes are reflected. If you notice something outdated, let us know and we’ll look into it.

Yes! You can add daycares manually alongside the imported BC data. This is useful for unlicensed options or daycares you’ve heard about through word of mouth.

Each daycare is scored on up to 8 factors: distance, Google rating, price, license type, schedule, wait time, group size, and food. The overall score reflects how well a daycare matches your specific priorities.

Yes! You can adjust the weight of each scoring factor to match what matters most to you. If distance is your top priority, bump it up. If you don’t care about group size, turn it down.

Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page. You’ll receive a reset link via email to set a new password.

Yes. You can delete your account from the settings page. There’s a 30-day grace period in case you change your mind — after that, all your data is permanently removed.

We collect the information you provide during onboarding (children’s ages, home/work locations) and your activity within the app (lists, contacts, notes). We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

No. Your personal data stays between you and Cubbylist. We don’t share, sell, or provide your information to daycares, advertisers, or any third parties.

Set your home and work addresses during onboarding, and Cubbylist calculates the distance to each daycare from both locations. Closer daycares score higher, so you can find options that fit your commute.

Lists let you organize daycares into custom groups — like "Top Picks," "Backup Options," or "Called Already." Think of them as folders to keep your search organized as you narrow things down.

On any daycare’s detail view, you can log calls, visits, and waitlist status. This helps you keep track of where you are in the process without needing a separate spreadsheet.

$20 CAD for a 30-day pass. That’s it — no hidden fees, no tiers, no upsells.

Nope. Cubbylist never auto-renews. When your 30 days are up, you decide if and when to buy another pass. No surprise charges.
